About this Cook
I'm a stay-at-home-mom to my three kids and wife to my Air Force husband. I have a BS in Exercise and nutrition so you'd think I would have been cooking for years. I've been making meals for years but only really took an interest in it the last few years. Thanks to sites like this my skills have gotten better and better.

Italian Beef in a Bucket
Excellent! I made it exactly as written and it's wonderful! I didn't drain the pickled vegetables, because the recipe didn't say to, so it may have been juicier than necessary. I put it over egg noodles and all five of us love it, including my ridiculously picky 7-year-old son. IMO much too juicy for sandwiches, but I'm sure one could reduce the liquids and solve that problem. I prefer it over noodles. Loved it and it'll be a staple recipe from now on. Thanks!

The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake
Made it nearly exactly as written. I omitted the red pepper flakes because I don't like my food spicy at all. It was definitely easy...so based solely on that I'd give it a higher rating. However it was just ok. Not a bad recipe, but not one I'll make again. My husband seemed to like it but none of my three kids would eat it. I had cut my chicken into large bite sized cubes to make it easier for the kiddos to eat and to simplify serving. It baked about 40 minutes and that was plenty of time. The croutons were soggy on bottom and crispy on top, which really bugged my kids. I should have just kept the croutons off, cooked up spaghetti, then used the sauce over spaghetti and let the kids top it with the croutons. I think it would have better received.

Sauteed Apples
Best ever! Very easy, especially if you have a corer/slicer/peeler for the apples. You'll need to double this recipe (at least) because it'll be gone! I did add vanilla and nutmeg as other reviewers suggested but I think without those additions this would still be a 5-star.
