Deep-Dish Spaghetti Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
This recipe was good and I will make it again but the next time I will add more sauce. I doubled the recipe and didn't double the sauce.....big mistake. I will also add some meat to it next time for the kids enjoyment.

Spicy Beef Vegetable Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
I loved this recipe! I prepared it the night before and put it in the fridge then the next morning I pulled it out and plugged it in on my way out the door. I made no changes to the recipe and the whole family loved it. I was hoping for left overs to take to work for lunch the next day but the kids ate it all. I would like to add that I think the 12 servings must be 1 cup servings. I think the serving would be more like 4 adults. Next time I will double the recipe.

Mother-in-law Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
It is just what it claims to be a good soup for when your sick. It is bland but can be spiced up for the occasion. It's a good soup and I made it for my 7 year old who is home sick with the flu and he liked it. If your looking for a show stopper this isn't it but for a basic soup that is gental on the stomach I recommend this one.

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I just made this for my peanut butter loving son who is home sick with the flu. He loved it!!! If you don't know that there is peanut butter in it you would never know. I do think next time I will cut the peanut butter down a little just to experiment. I took Valerie's suggestion and sauted the garlic, onion and celery first and added it to the broth. Very delicious!!!!!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I had thawed out chicken breasts and never had time to cook them. I needed an easy recipe for the crock pot because I didn't have a lot of prep time and I wasn't going to be home while it cooked. I found this recipe and it was perfect!! I did use the aluminum foil but added (2) cups of water,(2)tablespoons of Wylers instant chicken bouillon granuals and (2)cloves of garlic. I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika like it sugested but then added McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Chicken seasoning. I put this together the night before placed in fridge and plugged it in the next morning. I cooked it for (8)hours on low. I think (7) would have been fine mine was a little dry. The husband and three boys 17, 9, and 6 loved it!! I will definatly be making this again. Next time I will add the carrots, potatos, onion and celery like others have suggested.
