About this Cook
I work as a Meat market butcher and i love to cook whenever i get the chance. Living alone makes it hard to cook for one but that's ok becuase I just invite friends. Please be gentle with me. I have never had any training for cooking but I love to cook.
My favorite things to cook
Most favorite and possible unhealthy are: Chicken Grillers (bacon wrapped chicken breast with cheese and peppers in the middle) Chili, Twice baked potatoes, Beef tenderloin seared and baked in the over with a mushroom and onion white wine glaze, prime rib, apple pie, homemade ice cream....I will experiment for anyone.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking traditions is very simple. Soup and Sandwiches for Xmas with Grandpa's soda pop from the fridge. I know this is very simple and not much cooking involved but it holds my most memorable moments... It also got me started on cooking becuase I made my own chili recipe 2 years ago and brought it over and everyone loved it.
My cooking triumphs
My co-workers wanted to have a Xmas get together and we all wanted prime rib so I volunteered my home and volunteered to cook the prime rib, twice baked potatoes, and a gingerbread cake (I didn't want too much to handle for my first party so i had everyone bring other things). I got compliments on all my food escpecially the prime rib *I didn't want to ruin such an expensive cut of meat.
My cooking tragedies
I haven't had many but i will let you know if something tragic happens.
