Marshmallow Treats

These little guys are always great to make. I've used them numerous times as edible packaging instead of packing peanuts in care packages. Deployment approved, too!

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Honestly, this recipe was pretty average. The sauce was really watery and the recipe called for way too much sour cream. This method was definitely easier to make up and leave all day in the slow cooker, though.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies weren't as terrible as some of the reviews made them seem. Instead, they were pretty decent versions of an old classic. Perhaps there was just a little too much butter?

Caramel Popcorn

I've made this several times and the recipe never fails to impress. This popcorn also does really well in care packages going to Iraq during the summer months.

Seven Layer Bars

I substituted peanut butter chips for the butterscotch chips and used 2c of graham cracker crust like other reviewers suggested. They turned out well and everyone seemed to enjoy them. A little too sweet for my tastes!

Honey Crunch Pecan Pie

I was wary of baking this pie, because I'd never made a pecan pie before. With all that said, this turned out to be the BEST pie I've ever made. And the presentation was just as amazing as the pie itself. :) I did add extra pecans to the top second-go-round.

Best Cherry Pie

Ironically enough, this is the best recipe I've found so far for cherry pie. Nothing will bring a smile to your face like watching people fight over that last piece of pie. Absolutely wonderful!

Lemon Cream Cupcakes

I was so excited to try out this recipe after reading all the other reviews. I guess I messed something up along the way, because these cupcakes weren't that great. Decent - just not 5 stars worthy.
