Vegan Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2014
I ran out of eggs and had very ripe bananas that I needed to use. I found this recipe and just happened to have coconut milk in the pantry. These turned out to be the best banana muffins! I made exactly as written. They came out perfect! Thanks so much for the great recipe!

Lemon Raspberry Jumbo Muffins

Reviewed: May 18, 2014
Very good muffins that were moist and light just the way I like them. I added a tsp. of lemon zest to the batter. Next time I make these I will add more lemon extract or real lemon juice. Couldn't really taste much lemon. I also doubled the raspberries. I got 18 standard muffins.

Jordan Marsh Style Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: May 17, 2014
These muffins turned out very good. I feel though they need a little something to wake up the flavor. Next time I will try the butter flavored shortening and maybe a little lemon zest. I did preheat the oven to 450 then turned it down to 375 when I put the muffins in the oven. I checked them at 23min. and they were perfect. I will definitely be making these again.

Blueberry Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 4, 2014
This bread is delicious! I had bananas and frozen blueberries to use so this recipe fit the bill. I tossed the frozen blueberries in a little bit of flour so they spread evenly and didn't sink to the bottom. I used a 6 cup mini bundt pan and baked them for 25 min. They turned out perfect! Thanks for the great recipe!

White Chocolate Amaretto Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2014
Awesome cake and so easy to make! I used a French Vanilla cake mix, because that is what I had on hand, and sugar free white chocolate pudding. I skipped the glaze because it was for a function at work. Everyone raved about it and wanted the recipe! I will be making this again! Thanks for the great recipe! :)

Healthy Pumpkin Cranberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2014
Yum! I made 2 batches of these muffins, one batch I made with the oil the other batch I subbed applesauce for the oil. Also, both batches I used 3/4 cups craisins plumped in hot water then drained. The batch with the oil I found had a tad more flavor to them but they both came out excellent! Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

Chocolate Beer Cupcakes With Whiskey Filling And Irish Cream Icing

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2014
I made these just as a chocolate cupcake without the filling and frosting. They came out nice and moist. I used Guinness Draught beer. They were very easy to make. I thought with 2 cups of sugar they would be overly sweet but not at all. I got 24 cupcakes. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe! :)

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
This is my first time ever having Kale. I bought a bunch to have in a soup I made and had leftover Kale, so I decided to try Kale Chips. I am so glad that I did. I loved them. As the poster of this recipe suggested I sprayed them with Pam. I also just sprinkled a very small about of Kosher salt on each one. I baked for 10 min. on a parchment lined baking sheet. They were perfectly done. They tasted like potato chips! I will be making these again! A very inexpensive and healthy snack! :)

Pumpkin Gingerbread Recipe | Simply Recipes

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
Wow! Awesome recipe. I made (2) breads, one with regular unsulfured molasses and one with blackstrap unsulfured molasses. They both turned out excellent. Nice and moist and so easy to make. I prefer the blackstrap molasses because it has a much larger amount of potassium, magnesium, and iron. :)

Allie's Awesome Easy Spice Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2013
This cake is as it is named, awesome and easy! The only changes I made was that I used 1 cup dark brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar. My apple filling was a 21 oz. can but it didn't seem to make any difference. I made this for my co-workers and they all raved about it. Mine took 70 min. to bake. Thanks Allie for this wonderful recipe! :)

Brown Sugar and Port Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2013
This was very good. It had too much orange taste for me. Everything else was just right. Next time I will just add a little less of the orange zest and a little water instead of the orange juice for my taste. Everyone loved it! Thanks for the great recipe! :)

Harvest Pumpkin Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2013
These are outstanding! I only made one small change, and that was I used 1/2 cup of oil and 1/4 cup of applesauce. I did not make the frosting just because we don't care for frosting. The spices were just right and the cook time was perfect at 30 min. :)

Cranberry Bars

Delish! These were so easy to make. I found my cranberries a little more tart than usual so I added 2 Tsp. of Port wine to the sauce. Perfect! These were a big hit with my fellow co-workers and my family. Thanks for the great recipe!

Nutmeg Feather Cake

Delish! This cake came out great! So easy. The changes I made, which were very small, was I used 1 tsp. of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, as another reviewer suggested, then I added a pinch of cloves and a pinch of ginger just because I love spices. I will be making this again and again! Thanks for the great recipe JANYEO4. :)

West Coast Trail Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2013
Love these cookies. I left out the coconut because I was out of it and instead of a full cup of chocolate chips I added 1/2 cup chocolate and 1/2 cup white chocolate chips. I had to use my KA Mixer instead of the wooden spoon to incorporate all the ingredients, which worked perfect, because the batter is very dense. I got 4 dozen cookies. Will definitely be making these again! Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe!

Apple Hermits

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2013
I just finished making these cookies and they turned out great! I ended up adding more than a cup of chopped apples, more like 2 cups. The batter was very wet so I added a 1/4 of a cup of whole wheat pastry flour and also added a 1/2 tsp. of vanilla because I love vanilla in everything. Perfect. They are soft and cake like. The whole house smells wonderful. I will be making these again!
