Jordan Marsh style Blueberry Muffins
About this Cook
I have 3 wonderful grown children, 9 beautiful grandchildren and a wonderful husband. I've lived in MA. for most of my life. When my husband and I became empty nesters we began to travel. We mostly travel the Carribean. I love the culture, ocean, and warm weather. The food is out of this world.
My favorite things to cook
Baking is my passion. I was very fornuate to have it pass down from my mother and grandmother.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I love to do all the baking.
My cooking triumphs
I have recently started to sell my baked goods.
My cooking tragedies
Not really any big tragedies to speak of. I once forgot to take the bag of parts out of the Thanksgiving turkey before cooking it.

Vegan Banana Muffins
I ran out of eggs and had very ripe bananas that I needed to use. I found this recipe and just happened to have coconut milk in the pantry. These turned out to be the best banana muffins! I made exactly as written. They came out perfect! Thanks so much for the great recipe!

Jordan Marsh Style Blueberry Muffins
These muffins turned out very good. I feel though they need a little something to wake up the flavor. Next time I will try the butter flavored shortening and maybe a little lemon zest. I did preheat the oven to 450 then turned it down to 375 when I put the muffins in the oven. I checked them at 23min. and they were perfect. I will definitely be making these again.

Blueberry Banana Bread
This bread is delicious! I had bananas and frozen blueberries to use so this recipe fit the bill. I tossed the frozen blueberries in a little bit of flour so they spread evenly and didn't sink to the bottom. I used a 6 cup mini bundt pan and baked them for 25 min. They turned out perfect! Thanks for the great recipe!
