I was looking for a way to use up the crust I've saved in the freezer. (Every time I make my son a sandwich, I cut off the crusts and add them to my bag.) I found this recipe, and it worked out very well. My son has allergies to milk, so I used the following: 1 quart sized bag of whole wheat bread crusts, torn 3 oz. chocolate chips 2 cups milk 3 eggs 1/2 + of sugar in the raw 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp cinnamon I made mine in the oven as I am no good at microwave cooking (just remember to spray the pan). It came out really well! He's devouring it even as I write this...
