Oatmeal Pancakes II

My son loved the pancakes. They were good, but at the same time the pancake seems to be thick and heavy. You will need something to drink.

Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
Sooooo yummy!!!! I made this today with a few adjustments. To the recipe I added 2oz vegetable oil, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I made a homemade cream cheese frosting, well worth it and of course it always taste better than the store bought frosting.

BREAKSTONE'S Triple Chocolate Bliss Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
I made this cake and I did change the recipe a little. I didn't use the chocolate cake mix, but instead I used a butter recipe cake mix, 1 stick of butter, and cheese cake pudding mix. The cake came out very moist and good. I can only assume that the chocolate cake would be just has moist. The only reason I didn't make the cake according to the recipe was because my hubby doesn't like chocolate. I love chocolate, so next time I will make the chocolate cake.

Coconut Cream Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
I made this cake, for a sunday dinner I was having. The cake came out great, I did change a few things about this recipe, I use 1 cup coconut milk, instead of the cream of coconut and I also had 1 tsp vanilla. In between the layers I used a mixture of 1 cup sourcream, 3 oz condensed milk, 2 tbsp sugar and 1/2 cup shredded coconut, by the way it taste really good. For the frosting I used 1 (8oz package of cream cheese), 1 stick of butter, 6 cups powder sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla. After frosting the cake I sprinkled it with shredded coconut, and added fresh strawberries to the cake. Next time I think I will add some coconut extract.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
This is really good, I did change a couple of things, I used a italian blend cheese, just because I don't like the swiss cheese and added a little more cheese to the recipe. For the crust I use the recipe creation dough, but the dough was too thick. Next time I'll use a pie crust in stead. And I also use the mini muffin pans. Overall the recipe was very good and I would make it again.

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
I made this for dinner yesterday, and it was ok. The parmesan chicken need more salt and pepper. It wasn't alot of flavor. I made it because it had a lot of reviews, so I thought the parmesan chicken would be good. Well that goes to show you, not beacause a recipe has alot of reviews... that doesn't mean it's good ;)

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
This recipes was good, and I do like my food well seasoned, but I think the chicken was a bit salty. My husband thought it was pretty good. The next time I make it, I will use 5 oz of the Italian season. I also cook the chicken on hi in the crockpot for 2 hours, then on low for 1 hour. Towards the end I added 1 cup Italian cheese blend. Over all the recipe was good.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
I made these pancakes acording to the recipe, and I have to say these pancake were not very good. They had no flavor and the taste just like flour. So after making the first batch of pancakes, I had to modify the recipe a little. So I use 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tbsp lemon juice. I wouldn't make these Old Fashioned Pancakes again. I will buy my Hungry Jack Pancake mix and I buy the one that says "just had water". I had 1 tbsp sugar, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1tsp vanilla, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 egg and I use milk instead of the water. They come out very good all the time.
