Roasted Red Pepper and Crab Soup

First time making soup and peeling the peppers took some time and effort (made the mistake of cutting some of them smaller than they should be)I was a little worried as it was simmering but after I put them in the blender the color looked great and tasted great too!!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

A bit sweet but great recipe. I boiled the sauce in a pan with cornstarch before adding to chicken and I doubled the sauce as it did not look as if it was enough. I basted every 15 minutes and the end result was still a bit runny but caramelized very nicely.

I loved that a bowl is not needed and very easy to put together. I was expecting for the wings to be spicy but I did not find it spicy at all. I had a 6 ounce Louisiana hot sauce but still did not cover the wings so I basted them every hour while they were marinating and also basted once throughout baking before turning them. Like suggested - after turning the wings I raised the temp to 475 degrees F and baked for additional 15 minutes more.

I didn't take out any grease because there wouldn't have been enough for 1 TBLS and the outcome was a bit greasy but turned out very good next time I will try taking some of the grease out. I added red bell pepper then followed the recipe and garnished with scallion and topped with parmasean cheese.

Japanese Chicken Wings
