Marzipan II

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
Hey there, I as well, (without reading these reviews) tried this out. It was my first marzipan recipe I ever tried, so it was a disappointment to find out it did not work.. but, there is a good thing! I made a few adjustments to make the recipe how marzipan should be. To do this, I added one 198g container of Jet Puffed Marshmallow fluff and a few more cups of icing sugar. I kneaded it only a few times and it ended up turning out very well. I hope you can do the same and have your marzipan to turn out too. The consistancy should be simular to pie dough, Good Luck! :)

Chewy Chocolate Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2010
I loved this recipe! Did alter it a little by adding 1 1/2 cups more flour and I didn't put in the chocolate chips (they were delicious as they were). The cookies came out nice and plump, yet they were still firm on the outside and chewy on the inside. I made them about the size of a golf ball and got quite a few (didn't matter for they were still gone in no time). After making them a few times, I thought 'hey, why not make these mint chocolate cookies?'. So I added a teaspoon of mint and wow were they good! I even put mint chocolate chips in them after instead of just plain chocolate chips. Everyone kept asking me to make more, which I did. Yumm... Definately a keeper! :)

This taffy has great flavour and was easy to make! I ended up with 50 pieces that I shared with friends and family; they all thought it was delicious! Definately a recipe I will make again and again, thanks! :)

Butter Crescents

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2012
Awesome recipe :) But, I did choose to go the savory route. I: let the dough rise twice, rolled the dough into rounds then sprinkled with oregano and fresh grated parmesan cheese before cutting and forming, brushed the tops with butter, then sprinkled with basil and seasoning salt. I then sprinkled grated parmesan cheese on top of that and baked at 350F until golden brown. I think next time I'll use cream cheese (be creative people!). All together these croissants were fluffy and delicious, I will definitely be making them again!
