Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies II

My husband liked them, but I thought they were way too sweet and too much choc chips, more like candy. I also made the other version which is on this web site - has a little less sugar and only 1/2 cup choc chips and I thought were much better.

Delicious brownies, especially hot out of the oven when the marshmallows are soft. I made both versions of this recipe on this web site, and this is definitely the better of the two. I will make these again!

Hi - this is Starflower and I submitted this recipe. Just wanted to let you know...you never marinate fish for more than 30 minutes! It is not like meat. Per professional chefs.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Very creamy and velvety smooth! One of the best cheesecakes I have ever had - couldn't stop eating it! I made it light - used Neufchatel, 2 eggs and 4 whites, and light sour cream - and it was still delicious! (use 2/3 cup milk with Neuf. as it is a little softer than regular cc).

Burrito Pie

Very good! Especially using my own home-made refried beans (which I recommend). Good with sour cream and guacamole, and salad. Made half and was plenty. Reminds me of something I made before - mixing leftover taco meat with refried beans and putting them inside a flour tortilla. I will use smaller dish next time so I will get more layers (got 2 in 9x13" pan, halving recipe). Also, I used Taco Bell Taco Sauce.

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

Very good! My husband loved it. I used kidney beans, vegetarian baked beans, black beans (and liquid), and small white beans. Left out the celery. Cooked it covered on top of the stove about an hour, stirring occasionally. Thought it looked very pretty, as opposed to another reader! Will make this again.

Seven-Up® Cake II

My husband loved this cake. Because of other reviews, I decreased sugar a little and used only 1 tsp lemon extract. It was delicious. Only problem was it stuck to my nonstick pan (I had sprayed it). Next time will try a greased pan. Tastes like sponge cake. Would be good with a lemon sauce.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

I made several cookies from this web site this year for gifts, and this cookie was my husband's favorite. My boss requested the recipe. These are excellent. I preferred to make them as balls and not flatten then at all, although I did dip the top half in sugar for a sparkly effect (optional). I liked the big taste of peanut butter that way and they looked good, too. This recipe is a keeper! Thank you for sharing your recipe, Stephanie! These take a little more time, but are the best.

Stovetop Banana Pudding

At first, I thought this recipe was a joke, too. It lacks sugar...add 1/2 cup sugar. It also needs twice as much milk...use three cups. Then, it is actually a great recipe!

Banana Pudding IV

This pudding is easy to make and tastes great. The husband loved it. Company raved and requested the recipe. I preferred to fold the bananas into the pudding. Also, I used Neufchatel, which is a softer cream cheese, and reduced milk by 1/4 cup. This is now my best banana pudding recipe! Loved it.

Dark and Sweet Rye Bread

I found this bread to be one of the best I have ever made. It makes wonderful toast and mine sliced beautifully for sandwiches, contrary to what another rater said (she probably did not knead the dough enough, which will make it crumbly). I like to leave the raisins a little speckled in the bread - too much processing and they disappear. The sweetness causes the top to become a bit dark, but otherwise I love this bread! It slices well and makes wonderful toast.
