Fabulous French Loaves

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
I have been trying different breads lately and this is the first that has come out light and not heavy as a rock. The recipe is very easy and could have easily given me 3 loafs of bread. I used honey in place of sugar and olive oil instead of veggie oil. This was fabulous!!

Thai Chicken Balls

Very good. I used turkey instead of chicken and it was still great.

Easy and Quick Swiss Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
This wasn't my favorite flavor combination. I found that the steak was a little bland. It was definitely nice and tender though. I would try it again with a few modifications.

Hot Spiced Cider

I put this in a pot on the stove and simmered it for a few hours before my party. Best thing for a cold winter day. Delicious!

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
I couldn't get over the texture and the sweetness of these cookies. I love the concept, but I love the crunchy baked feeling of regualr cookies. I think it is the uncooked oats that kills the texture for me. These also came out overly sweet, even for a pregnant sweet tooth it was too much. They were however easy to make with common household ingredients so there was no need to run to the store!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
This wasnt my favorite recipe. It was good for a quick meal, but I would like to try it again with a sirloin or other steak in the slow cooker. The roast beef was too thin for my liking.I added onion and garlic to the beef also. I think the Au Jus came out really good.
