Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
This sauce is so delicious! Rather than add the glaze while baking, I pour it over the ham after it is sliced. I usually serve the extra sauce on the side. That way, I can use the "carcass" for soup or other recipes without the glaze flavor.

Gooey Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
These were good, but not as good as the gooey butter cake. I found that dropping the dough by spoonfuls into a small bowl of powdered sugar, then rolling into balls, made the process less messy. Chilling the dough slightly helped also.

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
I've made this one several times now, and always get raves reviews. To suit my own personal taste, I use only two pounds of lean ground beef, keeping all the other amounts the same. Last night, I didn't have any blue cheese, so I substituted feta cheese. Those were some really good burgers, too.

Apple Pecan Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This recipe is wonderful. I am not a dressing fan, but I really enjoyed this dish. I baked it in a 9x13 and it came out moist but not mushy. It makes a lot so I think next time I will bake it in 2 9x9's and freeze one.

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2005
Great recipe. To cut down on the grease, spread your pepperoni in a single layer on several paper towels. Place in microwave for 45 seconds on high. This really gets rid of a lot of the fat.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2004
If you have an air popper, use it for this recipe. The finished product is crispier and a lot less greasy. A roasting pan is very handy, too.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2003
Really quick and tasty recipe, especially if you have leftover chicken or turkey to use up. Try using creamy chicken mushroom soup instead of the plain mushroom. Yummy.

Sue's Hot Fudge Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2002
If you don't want to get out the blender, just beat with your hand mixer for a minute or two. Just make sure your pot is deep enough to prevent splatters.

I thought these cookies were a little too sweet. Will cut down on the sugar next time.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2002
This is a great recipe; I can't wait to make it for company. I didn't have the wine, so I used chicken broth, which worked really well. I also used half & half instead of the cream for the sauce and it was delicious.

This was a hit at my house. But I couldn't resist adding a few drops of hot sauce for more pizzazz.
