Cilantro-Lime Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
I always end up having cilantro go bad in the fridge after using half of it for another recipe. I have now found a use for the leftovers. This dressing was perfect. I love anything with lime so I doubled the lime juice and reduced the honey. The cilantro was not overwhelming at all. I served it on a salad of romaine, stir-fried chicken marinated in lime juice and soy sauce, sauteed mushrooms, avocado, green onion, almonds and cheese. My husband raved over it.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
The key to this dough is probably to use instant yeast as opposed to active dry. Instant yeast DOES NOT need to be proofed first therefore it yields a fabulous last minute dough. I used it for Stromboli and I couldn't have imagined it being better. Think and chewy.

Ultimate BLT Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
Good. Next time I'll use a creamier dressing to get more of the BLT feel. I served it with cubes of french bread and really enjoyed that.

Turned out tasty but very hard to work with. Quite a mess. I made it in a soup. It was fantastic.

Very good. I used wing sauce in the egg mixture instead of water. Very good on a salad.

Delicious Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
Very tasty soup. I added garlic and carrots and extra celery. Did not blend the soup. I'll use less soy sauce next time but that is a personal preference.

Lee's Incredible Momos

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
Authentic momos would not be made with beef as many people from this area of the world are Hindus. Try using ground chicken, goat or pork. Cumin is also a necessity to differentiate it from goyza or Chinese dumplings. Also, momo is made with round wraps and not the square won ton wraps called for in this recipe.

My Thai Chicken Wraps

These tasted good. Having them in the lettuce was quite messy though. If I make again I will try something else.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
Delicious! Loved the cilantro. I made with a yellow onion instead of red (personal preference) and Pizza Dough I from this site with rosemary added to the crust. So good!
