Super-Easy Rocky Road Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
This was very to put together. I did not feel a need to change a thing other then using Almonds since I like them better. I even frooze them so I can place them into gift bags to give out and they taste just as good as when I first made them. My teenager picky eating daughters love this recipe. It is a keeper for my house. Thank you for sharing...

Grandpa's Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
Before making this you should read what the others have shared as an easier route. I did this and found it very helpful. Make sure you have a candy thermometor and bring your mixture to an soft ball between temp. 235 no more than 240. Also an helpful hint was to spray your pot very lightly with a cooking spray along with your stir spoon of choice, this was a great tool. the sugar will stick to the side of your pan as it boils so this helps after cooking for an easier clean up. Once your mix is to temp. have your kitchen aid ready to go with the butter and vanilla and add your hot mixture to that and turn to speed 2 or 3 and check on it every 2 minutes to see is your mix is getting hard. I found in my kitchen aid the time was 14 minutes. Then I spread the mix on a wax paper lined (also spray very lightly with baking spray) smaller baking sheet. I left out on my counter until it was completly cooled, I lifted the wax paper and I cut into bit size pieces (using my pizza cutter) verses larger so I can gift out as gifts, using the smaller pans makes it thicker so if you cut small pieces you still get just enough in your mouth for a perfect bite. I freeze it until ready to hand out and it turns out perfect! Tastes great! You have to be willing to take the time this recipe needs, if you want to be quick in and out then try another recipe. I think some things don't need to be rushed and this is one of them. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with me.

Holiday Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
This was by far the best bread ever! I exhanged the egg out as my son is allergic for 1/2 tsp dry yeast to 1/4 cup warm water to set up in and I changed the white sugar out for Splenda. The bread came out wonderful and I am dieting so I have to watch myself. VERY VERY GOOD! It is a keeper by far

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
This was by far the easiest meal to put together. I had left over like you wouldn't beleive but I shredded extra and placed in other meals. I did make the mistake of putting my oven rack too low for the 250 temp. The hour I raised the rack and set the temp to 300 and I got the same results as everyone else. My family enjoyed this very much! Thank you for sharing

I am always looking for a new way to cook. This was very easy to do and very filling. I added salt and pepper and next time I will add in garlic to give it a more flavorful taste. I would have givenit 4 & 1/2 stars but I don't have that option.

Steamed Zucchini

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
I love zucchini and since I am watching my weight I eat it all the time. This was a nice change to my taste buds! Instead of using olive oil I replaced it with yogurt butter (this is about 90 calories less) I also more garlic since I love garlic and I added to taste salt and pepper! This is quick, easy, filling as a meal all alone and very yummy! Thanks for sharing.

Very easy to make! Very yummy and mosit. My son is allergic to eggs so I exchange each egg with 1/2 tsp. dry yeast to 1/4 cup warm water. I also had left over freshly made canberry sauce verses the dry berry itself, very yummy and I exchange the sugar for Splenda. Again VERY mosit! Thank you for sharing...

Beef Nacho Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
This was such an easy meal to make. My picky teenagers loved it as well. It does say casserole so keep that in mind it isn't really nachos in the since but a yummy dinner dish. I also changed a few things from what was suggested below. My son is allergic to red meat so I changed to ground turkey, I used sour cream instead of mayo (he is allergic to eggs as well), I used 1 cup salsa vereses 1 & 1/2 cups, 2 tbs of taco seasoning from package verses chili powder, I added in 1 can of black beans as in additon to and whatever chips I had left I added to the top for the extra crunch. It is very easy to put together, place in the oven to bake and walk away until it is ready! VERY filling. Thank so VERY much for sharing. I have added to my box to keep on making.

Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
very easy to make, very yummy and a very good gift to give... I did do this as directed the first time but found a few changes couldn't hurt. I found that using candy canes gave it a much better look. it crushes more to the red side verses the round are more to the white. I also added in 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract to give it a kick to the white chocolate mix after I had melted the chocolate. I also freeze it until I am ready to eat or give out as gifts and it tastes great! This is very simple, very easy to make. the price to make this is so much better then buying it to give out as gifts. When coming from your kitchen how can anyone not like it? Thank you for sharing this is a kepper that I will not use every holiday season.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
These cookies are very good. I followed what others said about not pressing w/sugar fork. I used a cup of dried bluweberries and instead of butter I used I can't beleive it is not butter and instead of white sugar I used Splenda. My son is allergic to eggs so I used 1 tsp dry yeast to 1/4 cup warm water per egg. Even with these few changes the cookies are very moist, chewy and YUMMY! Many Thanks for sharing!!!!
