Chocolate Earl Grey Cookies
If you like extremely cakey cookies, these are for you. I up-ed the tea bag count to nine (3 Earl Greys, 3 Lady Greys, 1 Indian Spice Chai, and 2 decaff supermarket brand Earl Greys) and it wasn't too strong. Like one of the reviewers said, I sprinkled decorative sugar on top for presentation's sake - that was good advice since these cookies aren't really pretty given their color and shapelessness. The flavor is unique, and makes for a good candidate to add variety to a cookie box gift, but I don't think I'd recommend them for shipping because they are so soft.

Smooth Sweet Tea
This recipe was quick and very easy to make. For my taste, I would increase the number of tea bags since I thought that the flavor of the tea didn't stand out enough against the sugar (I used Lipton tea bags so maybe they were weak?), but it's true that the bitterness isn't there, and if that's due to the baking soda, then hats off to whoever discovered the trick!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers
These were fun to make, not too laborious, flexible in terms of ingredient swops, cheap, and also particularly great for vegetarians that are mindful of protein intake (considering the beans, egg (up-ed it to 2 as someone recommended) and sliced cheese which is yummy melted atop the patties). I also rinsed the beans and let them drain overnight to dry out - saves that extra drying step, plus paper towels. To be fair, I didn't have the same spices on hand so I made some changes - substituted crushed red peppers for the chili powder and added some curry powder and onion salt as well - it still all came out well. I also used Panko for the bread crumbs, which worked fine. My veggie bf really liked these burgers, so we decided our next weekend activity will be mass-producing a stash of these for the freezer for future quick-and-nutritious dinners. Thanks for uploading!
