About this Cook
I LOVE to cook, on the weekends thats when I can take my time and leisurely prepare meals. This site was a gem to find, I love the rating factor, It gives me a better chance of making a great meal. Thanks.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite is desserts, but I'm just pleased when the meal comes out great whatever it is....
My favorite family cooking traditions
Im originally a New Englander, I grew up in Greenwich CT moved to West Haven for school, Needless to say the seafood back East is the Best. My fondest memories are of my family gathering at the seashore & my cousin Debra would boil live Crab & Lobster in cauldrins of Beer, We would do this maybe once every couple months.
My cooking triumphs
Yet to come! I hope it hasn't come and gone and I didn't no it.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to name, but my first time making dressing for Christmas dinner was my most embarrassing, My husbands family was there including his mom, and I wanted to impress. Instead of using cornmeal for the cornbread I grabbed the Grits, when we tasted the end product that smelled wonderful, IT WAS AWFUL!

Best Spanish Rice
This recipe is Great & Simple, the taste is magnificently true of Spanish Rice. The only changes I made is that I added more spices, a dash of chili powder & garlic powder and several chicken bullions. But when I make it again, I'll be using Long Grain Rice & I will be making this rice again

Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties
My daughter thought they were Good, and that's what matters, I will be making them again, but will just a lil more than double the seasoning that the recipe calls for.
