Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2011
This was really good. It's true what everyone was saying. My BF doesn't really like meatloaf but really like this version. I followed the directions exactly and cooked for about 55 minutes. I did add the glaze someone suggested with the ketchup and honey and it was a nice added touch. :)

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Such a great idea!! Made this for Christmas dinner and it was a hit! I put a towel between the lid and container also so not to make it too watery. Will definately make again.

I used regular cream of mushroom soup and everything else just like directed. Surprised at how much I liked it. I really like the american cheese slices with it. Simple yet good. :)

Mom's Paprika Chicken with Potatoes

This was sooo good!! I didn't use carrots and added sliced onions. I seasoned the chicken before I browned them. I precooked the potatos in the microwave for 4 mintues and they came out sooo good with the meal! Will def make again. Had all the ingrediants and sooo easy.

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
I really liked this. I followed a lot of ppl's suggestions and did not use any bouillon cubes. I used 3 can's of soup. 2 Cream of Chicken and 1 Cream of Celery. I added some frozen peas and carrots and a can of corn the last hour of cooking. I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and seasoning salt and used 6 baking potatoes. It came out creamy. Kinda like a chowder. I served it over bisquits. My boyfriend wanted a more "pot pie" taste but I liked the "chowder" like consistancy and taste. I cooked on high for 5 hours and low for the last hour.

I might have overcooked this but it was really good!! It was meaty and flavorful. The whole gang loved it! I cooked it so long that it wasn't watery at all but really just meaty.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
This was sooo good!! I layered it instead of rolling the tortillas. I didn't have any green chilies but will definitely make again with it. I added a can of cream of chicken so that I had more sauce. I also used leftover pollo asada chicken I had bought at costco. It was GREAT!!

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
This was sooo good!! Make sure to really wash the Corned Beef though cause otherwise it's way too salty!! I also cooked in a slow cooker. Bought it on sale for .99c a pound and used two 2lb packages. I cooked on high for 8 hours and it was pull apart tender. I also used 3 bottles of Guinness which covered it right up. Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2010
The filling was yummy and this was very easy to make but I thought that the topping was lacking something. It did look exactly like the picture! :) I would make this again but using a pie crust instead of the bisquick. I would add another can of cream of chicken also.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
I did not like the texture of the bread with this meal. I was expecting something a little more "eggy". I did add an egg and also some bacon and used the maple sausage. My sister really liked this recipe but the bread and texture threw me off of it. Sorry.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Sooo flavorful!! I cooked on low for 9 hours due to my Turkey was partially defrosted. I added some chicken seasoning and also a few pads of butter to the crockpot and it feel off the bone!! I was able to also slice the meat and it made a delicious meal. Will definately make again.

Mexican Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
This was so easy and my roomates 2 boys loved it (ages 12 and 17). I used 1 pound of beef and half an onion. Also I used a can of Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies which was smaller then 14.5 ounces cause that is all I had so I did use the 3/4 cup hot water. I only used 1 box of Jiffy muffin mix which covered most of the 2 qt casserole dish I used and I felt it was enough. I added the cheese to the beef mixture along with mixing the corn in with it. I also added some cheese to the corn muffin mix. I didn't add the olives either cause I do not like them. Will definately make again!!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I seasoned the pork chops first with seasoning salt then melted the butter in the pan before added the chops. I also uncovered after 30 minutes then broiled each side for 5 minutes as others suggested. The BEST pork chops I have ever eaten!!! Sooo yummy!! The buttery crackers are such a nice flavor for the breading. Mine came out moist and sooo tender!! Will definately be making again. :)

Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
This is the only way I will make drumsticks in the slow cooker now. I followed the suggestion of others and dredged my chicken in flour with salt and peper. I also added half an onion, sliced and also a can of Diced tomotaoes and green chilies for some texture. I cooked on high for 4 hours then like an hour on low and it was soooo good!! I took the leftover meat off the bone and the next day ate the meat and sauce mixture over rice. I am trying this recipe tonight with chicken brest to try to save that step next time. Best use of Chicken Drumsticks!!!
