Sesame Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2014
I served this warm and added some napa cabbage and broccoli. I used whole wheat pasta as well. It was a great mix of vinegar and sesame flavor! I bet it would be great with some shrimps to add a bit of body to it.

Ricotta Gnocchi

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
I didn't make the sauce with this, but used basil pesto. The gnocchi by themselves were delicious! Easy to make and tasty too!

Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
Very tasty! I did add some more spices, but the bay leaf was a good addition. My three-year-old at her whole bowl. A nice and easy way to get lots of veggies in a meal.

Basil Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
This was a hit! I reduced the butter to 3 Tablespoons as others had recommended and added a bit of onion powder and garlic powder. The fresh basil was wonderful without being overpowering.

We loved it! We grilled it after marinating it for 8+ hours and it was tender and flavorful. Thanks for the recipe!

French Herb Bread

I love this recipe! The texture is amazing, the spices are just right and the flavor is always a winner. Everybody that I have served this to asks what it is and "Can I have the recipe." Great recipe!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
Yummy! I usually use store-bought sauce, but decided to go all the way this time and make my own. It was worth it. I did not use fennel seeds as I didn't have any. I will definitely make this again.

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2011
These were moist on the inside, a bit crispy on the outside and had a great flavor. We enjoyed them with maple syrup. Thanks for the recipe!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
A tasty treat! I took others' recommendations about lessening the amount of butter on the chocolate topping and only put in 2 Tbsp. I also increased the amount of graham cracker crumbs to a little under 2 cups. I would encourage extra mixing, because it creates a smoother bar; ours were a bit crunchy in areas where the graham crackers didn't get mixed in as well as they could have been.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
Very tasty! My husband loved these and I took them to a workshop and they were a big hit by all who tried them. Who doesn't love warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies and a tall glass of milk?!

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2013
I added some baked tofu to this and increased the amount of soy sauce. The ginger was really refreshing and I did follow one other reviewer's idea to add pineapple chunks. That bit of sweetness was a great addition. I served this over fragrant Jasmine rice. Yummy!

Salmon with Pineapple Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2013
We added this after getting a pineapple and ample tomatoes in our Bountiful Basket. The salsa was fresh and flavorful. I would have let it marinate for a while before serving if I had had time.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
The cake, when cooked and cooled as written, was moist and delicious. I used mostly frozen over-ripe bananas, which added to the intensity of the banana flavor. I did add 1/2 cups less sugar and mixed white and brown sugar; I could have even lessened it a bit more. I followed the recipe other than that. A very tasty crowd pleaser.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: May 19, 2013
Very tasty. I always sneak in more spinach and cut back on the garlic salt. I do, however, add garlic powder; I find that the cheeses add enough saltiness to the dish, as do the tortilla chips that I serve it with.

Barbecued Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
I browned the meat before putting it into the slow cooker and I cooled the sauce in the freezer before serving to make skimming the fat easier. This turned out delicious and I will be making it again!

My husband loves mushrooms and really enjoyed this recipe. I did add a bit of oregano and some fresh mushrooms since I had them, but otherwise stayed true to the recipe.

I added the whole can of coconut milk, but otherwise followed the recipe. Great vegan meal with lots of taste! I will for sure make this again. I may try sweet potato or another kind of squash next time.

I did as other reviewers recommended and squeezed out the excess liquid from the zucchini before mixing. I added a bit more spice and they turned out great!
