Simple and excellent. This recipe doesn't need modification. This was the backbone of feeding seven people Thanksgiving dinner out of my tiny apartment kitchen, and it made plenty and went off without a hitch.

Amy's Delicious Turkey Burgers

Simple, flavorful, and has kept me from buying pre-formed turkey burgers from the store for the last three months. It's not too hard to keep the ingredients on-hand (although my boyfriend keeps eating the Cheez-Its), so as long as I plan ahead enough to thaw the turkey, it's a great low-effort "I have no idea what to cook for dinner" middle-of-week electric contact grill meal. I burn through enough ground turkey I should probably just keep a pound in the fridge at all times; I doubt it'll go bad before I eat it, and that'll make this very available on impulse. Recommended.

Deluxe Mashed Potatoes

This recipe leads to a salty, tangy, complex flavor- which isn't bad, not wholly unrelated to sour cream and onion potato chips, except with cream cheese. The cream cheese flavor really doesn't help, in my opinion, and my Thanksgiving guests were, at best, unenthusiastic. I ate it, I've had better, and I can't say I plan on making it again.

Dorm Room Chili Mac

A good solid chili mac, and it works for whatever variety of mac-and-cheese or chili you prefer. I go for Hormel beanless chili and Kraft Thick & Creamy macaroni and cheese. It came out quite well, for what it is: a convenience food, made of a convenience food and canned food, that is more than the sum of its parts.
