No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Best cookies I"ve ever eaten. Years ago we used coconut vs. peanut butter. Just a heads up they're just as good. I really love these cookies. I like the fact that you don't have to use the oven at all. Just the refrigerator. I probably boiled everything for 2 minutes just because of the reviews that said 1 minute wasn't long enough. When i put the cookies in the fridge, my boyfriend couldn't wait for them to harden and he went a sneaked a plateful. You'll need a big cold glass of milk to go with these. they are WONDERFUL!

Apple Walnut Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
this was alright. the dressing was too sweet. I wanted the dressing to be more vinegary. I probably wont make this again as I made the same salad the next night but with ranch and it was better tasting.

Cumin Chicken With Apples

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
This turned out alright. I'm sure it would have turned out if I followed the recipe exactly but I didn't have certain items in the recipe. I didn't use any mushrooms, I used peaches instead of apples, and I used zuccini instead of onions. Zuccini is great with this recipe, I would definately stick with the apples though. Peaches were a little weird. This is very good though, there's not too much cumin taste. Very good chicken. Also, I used a can of chicken gravy instead of cream of mushroom. VERY VERY good sauce

MAKE SURE you leave the meatballs in the oven for 45 minutes. I made these last night and I took them out at 20 minutes thinking they were done because the rice only takes 20 minutes and I dishes us up and the rice was still hard. Also make sure you add an egg. I think I put to much tomatoe sauce in the casserole dish so the porcupines didn't really stick out because everything was so saturated with tomatoe sauce. (I believe I used way more than what the recipe called for)

Pineapple Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I haven't made this recipe yet but I have made pinneapple rice before and I suggest using jasmine rice for this. The Pinneapple and Jasmine Rice tastes really good together.
