Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken

Five stars because it is so flavourful and simple to prepare. My kids devoured it. It's in the regular rotation now. I used brown sugar instead of Splenda as some other reviewers suggested. Just personal preference. Served with rice to soak up all the juice with steamed asparagus. Also used boneless chicken thighs to reduce the cooking time. Nice one!

Filipino Beef Steak

Great flavour. I was looking for something different to do with these strips and found this recipe. My dish turned out not perfect, as I overdid the cornstarch, but was still delicious. I will try it again as my family loved it. Served with brown rice and steamed veggies.

I agree with the reviewer who said the larger the shrimp, the less work to do. My family loved this. I will try it again with some spices in the flour to season it up. Nice one!

Slow Cooker Lemon Pepper Chicken

I doubled the lemon pepper for stronger flavour, added 1/2 cup water and used boneless skinless chicken breasts. Served with rice and asparagus. The family loved it. Simple and delicious.

Kosher Chicken Soup with Matzo Balls

Zucchini Patties

Cranberry and Almond Pasta Salad

I tried this with diced chicken instead of ham and added diced green apple. I cut the mayo in half and substituted light sour cream. The crunchiness of the almonds and celery was nice, but this dish still lacked flavour. The taste of the cider vinegar was not pleasant. Not a bad recipe, but needs some variation. Needs flavour.

Not quite a five-star but very much enjoyed. I prepared this exactly as the recipe called for. I wouldn't ever recommend canned soup, but if you are short on time, prepared mushroom soup would do in a pinch.

Cilantro Tomato Corn Salad

Five stars because it was so flavourful and so simple. It took 10 minutes to get this together, although I cheated and used canned corn. No worries as long as it has enough time in the fridge to chill and allow the flavours to blend. Nice side dish recipe. Very simple.

Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce

Fabulous recipe. I have tried variations of this recipe with scotch bonnet, jalapeno and thai chili peppers. Every time I get a jar of dynamite paste. One change I make is to reduce the sugar, as 2 tbsp is a bit too sweet for me. A word of advice, though. Don't prepare this on your kitchen stove if you have people around who don't share your enthusiasm for this recipe. The aroma can be overwhelming. Thanks for sharing this one.
