Amish White Bread
I've made this bread as per the recipe and once with my own additions. When made as per the recipe, the bread is great! I took half a loaf with me to work with the intention of sharing, but liked it so much that I decided not to share.
The next time I made it, I followed the recipe for the most part, but added a cup of dried cranberries (didn't have any raisins) after the third cup of flour. Once mixed and risen, I punched it down, kneaded it for a few minutes, cut in half and flattened out each half. I sprinkled each half with cinnamon and rolled them up before putting them in the pan. It turned out wonderfully! My family loves it!
