Zucchini Pie
I'm always looking for good ways to use up a lot of garden zucchini. This did the trick. I adjusted the recipe to 12, made two 9" pie plates, and that took up 2 big zucchini. I left one pie "plain," but added tomato and pepper to the other. Instead of all the parm cheese, I did half parm cheese, half shredded cheddar. It was awesome!!!! It seems like a very adaptable recipe (add as many or as few garden veggies as you have on hand.) Thanks for a great recipe!

Marshmallow Fondant
this was my first fondant. it was super-duper sticky. definitely keep the jar of crisco ready. i also laid down a lot of corn starch to help me with kneading. i couldn't figure out how to get the rolled fondant onto my 10" double layer cake, so i ended up having to do two pieces, with a big crack down the middle. that was frustrating. it definitely tasted pretty good compared to other fondant. will use it again.

Black Magic Cake
Great recipe. I used water instead of coffee, since this was for a 3-year-old's birthday party. I multiplied the recipe by 2.5 in order to have enough batter for a round wilton 6" 2-layer cake and a round wilton 10" 2-layer cake. I'm a decorating novice, but I was looking for a heavy enough cake to support 2 layers on a 2 tiered cake with butter cream (special butter cream frosting) and marshmallow fondant, both from this site, and this one did a great job. I also used wilton's cake realase and got a very nice crust from this recipe!
