Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
Really good flavor. I did add 1/2 packet of taco seasoning instead of chili powder, and added red pepper flakes and Louisiana hot sauce to the meat. We like things spicy. Also, I used a can of rotel, and did top off each layer with cheese. I didn't use 4 cups of cheese more like 2. I think this would be good with flour tortillas, as well as corn. Was a real simple easy meal to make.

Cajun Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Tasted pretty good. Did have some grease that was on the top of the soup, but got most of that off with some paper towels. Would be good with some added bacon, and probably some celery.

Steak Strips with Spaghetti

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Had better flavor than I thought. I did cut my steak into cubes, and mixed everything together. I also used a 15 oz can of tomato sauce, and about a half a cup of water. It turned out pretty good.

Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
I've been making this for years and it is always a hit. I add a little paparika and garlic powder to the mixture. Sometimes I add a little cajun seasoning to give it a kick. I usually make it into a cheese log so it fits easily on a cracker.

These were so easy to make, and a hit for Thanksgiving. Put in the fridge right after making to make them sit up quicker.

Slow Cooker Venison Burritos

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
Really good flavor. I did leave the corn out just because I'm not a big fan of corn in my burritos. Nice recipe for venison.

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
Really good flavor. I did let mine simmer for a few hours. I added a some minced garlic to the meat, and Italian seasoning, and a bay leaf to the soup. I then added my macaroni about a half hour before I ate it. Also, please note that the recipe calls for 2 (1 oz)packages of onion soup, and are sold in 2 (2.5 oz) packages at least the ones I bought. As noted by another reviewer.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
Best Mac and Cheese recipe I have found. It didn't reheat very well, but that could have been operator error. Great flavor!!!! I did leave the bread crumbs out, just because I don't like bread crumbs on my Mac and Cheese.

Angela's Alfredo Ham

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
Pretty good meal. I used diced ham cubes, and it turned out pretty good. I also use a garlic parmesan alfredo sauce (Ragu), and it was real tasty. It was just a "heavy" meal, but had good flavor.

Slow Cooker Venison Stroganoff Meal

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
This is a pretty good stroganoff meal. I had a little more than a pound of meat so I added a little bit more water, and mixed it all together. I also added about half a cup of sour cream, which really added to the flavor.
