Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
My family LOVES this salad. I have also made it in the fall using apples, but keep in mind that if it is not all eatten the first day, it gets runny with the chopped apples. We always at least double the topping! But I have made it with low fat and fat free sour cream and cream cheese with wonderful results. The Emerald Pecan Pie glazed pecans in the bag are AWESOME on this!

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
We loved this! I used beef broth instead of chicken, only because it's all I had this day! I also added a can of mushrooms and some gourmet burger seasoning. oh - and I had some half and half that needed used so I substituted that for the milk - really low cal! I added some seeded bun croutons on top! Yum!

Raisin-Filled Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
Just like my Nanny used to make! I'm making these again today for my dad's birthday. I gave him some for Christmas and he LOVED them - and he is VERY particular about his raisin-filled cookies! I was amazed that with this recipe I was able to pass his test! Has to be soft all the way to the edges - he doesn't like hard edges on these! The filling was yummy and so was the cookie! DELICIOUS! They don't last long in my house! My husband and son gobble these up like there's no tomorrow!

Spaghetti Squash Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
We loved this dip! My niece thought it tasted like the creamy part of spinach and artichoke dip, I thought it was better! I followed the recipe with just 2 additions - I added 3 ounces of cream cheese when I added the butter, and I added some garlic salt for extra flavor. Yum! Next time I might add a can of crab. Thanks for sharing!

Holiday Cranberry Chutney

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
I couldn't wait for cool weather and fall so I could make and eat this recipe again! I had been looking for a new and different way to serve cranberries last Thanksgiving when I stumbled across this recipe! Yum! Although most of my friends and relatives were skeptical at first, they all asked for it again this year! And oh the smells it puts in your house while cooking! I've made this numerous times, and the only thing I add is pears. Other than that, this dish is fall perfection as is!

Smoked Oyster Spread

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
I love oysters and always keep a can or 2 of smoked ones in my pantry for those relaxing evenings when I can indulge and just eat smoked oysters and hot sauce on a saltine for supper! But today I was looking for something a little different. Tried this recipe and was not disappointed. Added a little hot sauce, but that was all I changed. Yummy dinner!
