Butternut Squash Soup with Sage

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Very good simple to make squash soup, the apples are a great sweetener for this seasonal dish. I will be using the sage-infused butter on a lot of other items, already drizzled pork roast slices with it and amazing flavor!

Party Cucumber Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 2, 2010
Very tasty & fresh. Serve very cold, sliced diagonaly they are finger-food size. 2nd time I made these open faced, no mayo, with a sprinkle of dill, next time I'll add a small slice of smoked salmon.

Very good thick rich soup. I cut the butter to 1/2 cup, may use 1/4 cup next time.

Thai Banana Salsa with King Prawns

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
Gave this 4 stars because I changed it so much from the original but what a great base to start with! I eliminated the cilantro and put in only 1/4 tsp. of the thai fish sauce (1 tablespoon of that stuff would put me off fish for a year!) I will increase the bananas next time.

Alfredo Sauce

So simple, so good, ate the leftovers out of the pot with a spoon! Served it over fresh asparagus this time, going to make it again soon!

PHILLY Spicy Thai Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
Good thick soup, next time I'll cumble some bacon into it, seems to need a little something more.
