Butter Cream Frosting II

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
YUMMMM!! first attempt making my own frosting and this was sooo easy!!! I agree with another review and it does taste like grocery store buttercream, but that's exactly what my husband loves. So easy and so good. I followed the recipe exactly as written.

Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
Way to easy - loved it!!! Made for 4th of July BBQ and I only got one small spoonful as it was all gone by the time I got it in line, will definetly have to make again because of how easy it was. The only thing I did different was I used two whole bags of frozen corn and there was still plent of sauce left over. I think next time when I make more for another larger BBQ I will make 1.5 times the sauce and use 4 bags of corn, we will see.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
Very good. We did not have any nutmeg on hand so we used Pampered Chef Cinnamon plus blend and these were so good. Next time I will try with the nutmeg, but if I still don't have any that will be ok too. We enjoyed making these and will be making again soon.

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
LOVED IT!!! Was a huge success. We had to double the recipe due to the number of people we were serving. I did not have any mini chocolate chips so I chopped up some chocolate bars using my food chopper. I also added way more food coloring than six drops but that's because the person helping didn't think it was green enough. Once it was done mixing in the ice cream maker we placed in the freezer for another two to three hours and it still had that soft serve texture. Everyone loved it and we will definetly be making again!!!

Vanilla Ice Cream V

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
Very delisious. Fit our gallon ice cream maker perfectly. We were testing it out for our annual 4th of July party and everyone agreed that this is what we should make instead of the ice cream packets. We found the mixture to be very smooth and so creamy. Followed directions exactly as is. Update: Husband wanted Chocolate Ice cream, so I used 1/2 cup of Coca powder to make it and I can't explain how good it was. It tasted like a frosty it was so good!!

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
I would not suggest using 2 cans of crabmeat - but other than that - this was great. Finally got by husband to try chinese, drawback is that i have to make it now. This recipe will be a keeper. If you do not have water chestnuts it's ok to omit, but if you have green onion on hand finely dice them up and put them in - they are good as well.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
Make sure you have a large loaf of bread - while I was able to get the 12 slices 1 inch thick - it still was just not enought to soak up all of the eggs of which I only used 10. My husband was not too immpressed with it, but my guests raved about it. So tastes will vary. I think that if I make again I will definitly make sure I have two loaves of bread and just make it like sandwiches instead of cutting it up in cubes.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This bread good. I made it for work and home and everyone raved. I personally will still use my grandmother's recipe with crushed pineapple in it. I will keep this recipe for when I need a change.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
Absolutely the best!! I took it to a family outing and everyone wanted the recipe. I made my in a 9x13 and made my own graham cracker crust (it's all I had on hand), I also topped it off with cut up reese's cups and drizzled a little chocolate syrup on top. It looked amazing and tasted even better. Husband says I have to make it again soon.
