Make-Ahead Vegetarian Moroccan Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
Excellent. I did this pretty much like the recipe, except I didn't add kale, but I added peas. At the end of cooking I added a half cup of Cilantro. This was very good.

Whole Grain Waffles

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
This is an excellent, tasty, easy recipe. We are trying to modify our diet to more healthy choices, and this is so good, the kids don't even know it's good for them. Top with strawberries or cashew butter instead of syrup for a change of pace. THANKS!

Standing Rib Roast with Walnut Horseradish Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I am not a prime rib eater, however my husband and inlaws are. This was my first attempt and THEY said it was wonderful. HOWEVER, the Walnut Horseradish Cream was the BEST. I almost cut the recipe for that in half, however I didn't and my husband used it as a dip for crackers!

Nana's Christmas Stollen

Followed the recipe exactly except that I added a cinnamon/sugar mixture on top of the butter before I baked it. Great recipe. Thanks.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2006
I scaled this recipe for 30 to take to my daughter's Brownie troop event, where our booth was about Ireland. We gave each child a "taste" of Ireland. There are about 100 girls at the event and they all loved it. Of course, I had to change the recipe a bit. I used a huge bag of frozen "Veg-all" and mixed it into the browend hamburger meat instead of smashing carrots. I didn't have time...but I did boil and mash real potatoes, with the skin left on. It was great! Thansk!

Chocolate Mice

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
Oh, yeah, these are cute and will pass the YUK! factor in my daughter's 3rd grade class Halloween party tomorrow. I changed a little bit. For the Chocolate wafer cookies, since the store was out of chocolate, I had to buy a variety pack with Choc, Vanilla and Strawberry. For the chocolate cookies, I used Chocolate Teddy Grahams. For the tails I used those caramel sheets...I cut them in thin strips with a pizza cutter and rolled them to mahe them round instead of flat. I didn't like pure powdered sugar, but a combo of the Teddy Grahams and sugar worked. I used red frosting for the eveys...mostly because I couldn't find the little balls at the time. I packed them in a small styrofoam cooler and labeled it "CAUTION LAB MICE"

Torta Rustica

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2005
Very nice recipe. It came out beautiful and the crust was much easier to make than any I have made before. I am not a proscuitto or ham fan, so I substitited with some pepperoni. Instead of roasted peppers I added olives and canned mushrooms and it was terrific. I will make this again (and again).

Arti-Cheesy Chicken

Excellent Douglas! Thanks for the recipie. I cut down some on the cream as well, but it still made a great amount of sauce. I also added some sun-dried tomatoes.

Turkey Pot Pie I

Thanks for this recipie. It is VERY good. I added fresh rosemary rather than parsley and it adds a wonderful flavor. I have made this twice and both times it has been maah-vell-ous.
