Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
the only thing i did different (which i hate deviating from the recipe and then rating it) was i used the beefy onion cuz that's what i had and i had one regular and one low sodium cream of mushroom. i thought it was awesome! middle son likes the other way i make roast which is just minus the soup. i thickend the gravy with bisquik and added a splash of red cooking wine. since the middle son is 18 and going to air force bootcamp this summer, i WILL be making it again! lol very good, thanks for posting!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
this was so simple and delicious! i really didn't even deviate from this....i used dehydrated onion flakes....forgot the butter...seasoned with some kosher salt and fresh ground pepper and added a bag of frozez mixed veggies. next time i think i'll try adding noodles at the suggestion of my 16 yr old son. definately a keeper, especially for cold days. why didn't i think of this??? i think this would also be a good potpie filling.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
first let me say that i am so glad to know that i'm not the only person who makes bisquits and gravy with maple sausage. i LOVE jimmy dean maple...use it in stuffing and queso...i know, gross right? but it's REALLY tasty. i always use bisquik instead of flour and make the gravy in a separate saucepan, but next time i'm gonna try it this way!!!

Southern Fried Cabbage

this cabbage is awesome!!! i've always preferred cabbage that was sauted, but this is delish. i added a little cayenne to balance the sweet from the sugar and frying it in the bacon grease just made it money!!! making this again tonight. what a great way to eat cabbage. kids loved it too. thank you so much for posting such a delicious, simple recipe that i never thought of!
