Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Seared Salmon with Indian-Inspired Cream Sauce

I served this over a mixed rice and it was simply amazing. Fairly quick and easy and very, very tasty. I can already tell this will become a favorite for us. I had to make a few minor changes based on what I had in the house. I didn't have celery so I put in some diced red bell pepper instead. As far as the fennel goes, I used every part of it - the bulb, stems, and fronds. Like other reviewers, I also added in much more curry powder, probably about 1 Tbs total. Also, I didn't have saffron so that was left out.

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Yum! I made four different types of cookies today and these are my favorite. I'm vegan so I used dairy-free margarine and subbed for the egg yolk, and on reviewers' recommendations used 3/4 tsp cloves rather than 1 tsp, and the cookies turned out awesome. I will definitely be making this recipe again. Thanks!

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Seriously, wow. All my guests last night raved and asked for the recipe. The cake looks like it won't absorb all the milk, so out of precaution I poured half on and let it do its thing and then poured the other half on about 20m later when I saw the first half was all gone. Ended up being the right amount of milk. Thanks for a great recipe!

Greek-alicious Pasta Salad

This was great! I didn't have any chickpeas, and I love onion so I added a little bit all finely chopped, but otherwise stuck to the recipe. Hopefully next time I have some chickpeas. YUM. Thanks!

Parmesan Roasted Corn on the Cob

I actually roasted the corn with nothing on it, and then brushed the mayo and seasoned parm on afterwards. Made it easy for people to customize the corn how they wanted. Yum

Chai Tea Mix

This recipe is delicious. My only changes were along the same lines as other reviewers - I used half as much sugar and 1.5 times as much of each of the spices, and did not include the tea - I just add the mix to a freshly brewed cup of tea. I've been drinking this non-stop since making the mix! Thanks!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

OK seriously...almost two thousand 5-star reviews cannot be wrong, and they weren't. This was absolutely delicious! I made it as an appetizer for us to eat while baked potatoes and the rest of dinner did their thing, and we hardly had room for dinner by the time it was ready! I used apricot preserves. YUM. This recipe is awesome and is instantly one of my favorites. Thanks so much!!

Amazingly Good Eggnog

This eggnog was delicious, with two caveats - the first time I made it, I was "tasting" it quite a bit before adding the rum, which actually ended up making it undrinkable. I ended up dumping it out and making it again the next day sans rum - YUM! Also, on its own it comes a little too thin for my tastes so I add a tablespoon or two of cornstarch to make it a little thicker.
