Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
This dish was tasty. Glazing was a little sweet for my taste even though I already reduced the ketchup and sugar by half. Next time I will reduce them by a little bit more. Next time I will use 2.5 TBSP brown suger, 5.5 tbsp of ketchup, and 1 tbsp worcester sauce. For the Meat load, I also added 2 tbsp of worcester sauce, 1 tbsp of garlic, used 1 egg, used 1/2 corn flakes and 1 tbsp of bread crumb instead of 1/2 of bread crumb. As other readers suggested, I put slices of fajita bread on the bottom of the pan to soak up the grease, spread 1/4 of the glaze on the bottom, fill in the meat load, then put the remaining glaze on the top. I baked it for 1 hr. It was juicy and tasty.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
I baked it 250F, 4.0LB chicken with the skin on for 3hours exactly. and it came out so deliciously tasty and juicy. I love it so much. It was my first time making the chicken and I loved the juiciness and the flavor of the meat. My friend who is a cook also loved the flavor. I didn't eat much of the skin, but I'd say that if you like the skin, you may want to bake it on a higher temp for 30 min or so for a more crispy taste of the skin. I don't eat the chicken skin so it didn't matter to me that much. I love this recipe and so did my friends. I didn't alter the recipe. I skipped onion power and white pepper because I didn't have them, otherwise I stuck to the original recipe.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I marinated the salmon for a day in the fridge. It's an okay recipe. I much prefer other salmon recipes - I feel that the soysauce and sugar took away the natural flavor of the salmon. I wouldn't make this recipe again.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
I made this for a dinner party. Every one of my guests loved it - even people who normally don't drink. I omit the lime, lemon concentrate, and sugar; instead of using triple sec I used Peach Schnapps; I added a little more Brandy; added apple and pear; I also did not add carbonated water. I let it sit over night in the fridge. This is a fantastic Sangria recipe - my version is a bit strong but not too sweet. Next time I would try without adding the additional Brandy.

This is my first apple pie. I made the pie crust using the Basic Pie Crust recipe from this site as well and it turned out soo delicious! It has the right amount of sweetness, even my boyfriend who usually doesn't eat too much desserts loved this pie. Thank You for this recipe!! It's so simple to make yet so tasty! I will be making this again tomorrow!

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
I made my first apple pie using this crust recipe. I used butter instead. Followed the recipe and it came out fantastic. I loved it. I am not a cook and love the simplicity of this recipe. Forget the store bought pie crust, I will be making my own pie crust from now on!
