High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

I am using this recipe tonight for a second time. I have read some unfavorable reviews and the only comment that I may have is that my oven has a covered element which holds the heat & continues to cook even when the oven has been turned off. Another comment is that I do own an oven thermometer that has a probe placed into the meat and then a thermometer that sits on the counter and I can see the internal temp. I paint the roast with olive oil, add salt & pepper & use the Tastefully Simple Spices Onion Onion & Garlic Garlic. Its outstanding.

Apple and Pear Crumble

Just made this and loved it! The only thing I did differently was omit the brown sugar in the apple pear mixture. I thought that the 3//4 of a up of brown sugar in the topping mixture was plenty. It was.
