Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
absolutely no need to add flour, just chill the dough properly and the cookies stay moist and thick. I did find that 350 for 9 min was just right. added 1/2 tsp. vanilla.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I chose to cook in the oven @ 425 for 15 min. Made individual foil tents for each piece. This is my families favorite salmon recipe.

French Toast II

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
caution! do not soak the bread. Also I would not use Med- high head as the directions call for. Perhaps just medium.

Hamburgers and Ketchup Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
My family jumped right on this one. We served it over rice which I highly recommend. Although I did meatballs next time I will make patties. Patties are easier to brown crispy on the outside then the meatball. The mixture is a little fragile and meatballs require a little more handling in the frying pan.

Tomatoed Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
I liked the simplicity of this recipe and decided to cook exactly as directed. I do like really spicy foods but but for my family after simmering the peppers with the pork mixture I only returned one of the chopped peppers (without seeds) to the tomato mixture. I plated with white rice, and offered the following condiments: mozzarella cheese, salsa and I reserved half of jalapenos for the table for those who want to kick it up a little. Really happy with the way it turned out and will cook it again soon. Thanks Amy for sharing.

Weekday Pot Roast and Vegetables

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
a few changes: quartered meat trimmed fat fried in olive oil, added a few strips of celery sliced fairly thin, and 2 cups of mushrooms quartered. 5 stars because of taste and simplicity cooked for 5 hours in a dutch oven - super tender!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

super easy, cooked as written but used chicken tenderloins and reduced the cook time a few minutes. last five min I reglazed and used broiler to thicken the coating. With these ingredients there is no need to marinade.
