Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

This is an old favorite of ours. I too used the Knorr's brand soup mix, but Lipton or Mrs. Grass is OK too. The recipe is printed on the package.

Garlic Chicken

My firefighter friend makes this dish and it is a winner. It always turns out moist and delicious plus it is so simple to make.

My teenage son made this with a little help from me. I would rate it closer to 4 stars, but it was somewhat bland for us. However, when the "toppers" were added it became much better. We also added fresh green onion with splashes of hot sauce and a shake of salt and pepper to give it more flavor. It's a good starter recipe with room to improve on according to taste.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

I was so looking forward to this recipe because we love buffalo wings, but this recipe was just disappointing and not what I expected at all. We didn't like anything about it. It tasted strange and the look and texture was not appealing.

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

This is simple enough to make, smells great cooking, but was way too salty for any of us to really enjoy. I read other's suggestions to help with the saltiness, but we still found it to be too much. I haven't given up on this recipe though because I know it can be good with some tweaking.

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

I made this for my luau party and it didn't go over well at all. It was just way too salty for anyone to enjoy. This was the first time I made and ate something like this and even with suggestions from others, it still wasn't happening for us. This has potential to be something delious but it definitely needs to be tweaked a few times to get it right from my experience anyway.

Chili I

Great chili recipe made even better with the helpful suggestions of others and my own secret additions. I'm a seasoned cook who knows what I like and don't like, so admittingly I rarely if ever follow a recipe to the letter and from the raves I get, I'm obviously doing something right!

Easy Tuna Casserole

It's OK, definitely nothing special and does need to be doctored up for us. Helpful enough review, especially to those that are new cooks? I personally like reading other's suggestions and I know how to cook. It helps me not waste my time or money on an average or poor recipe and instead shows me ideas to enhance it without having to waste my time scrolling through numerous recipes for basically the same thing. So thanks to those of you who are generous enough to help out a cook. Any real cook doesn't and shouldn't mind alterations of their recipe to begin with.
