Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
if there was a 4 1/2 stars i would rate it that. use only 1/2 a teaspoon black pepper. even though, it seemed to be lacking something. will definitely make again.

Ragu® No Boiling Baked Ziti

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
I loved this ziti! I only used about 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese, and it was plenty cheesy. It was a little bit mild, so I added a bit of hot pepper flakes to the dish. It was not dry, but I still kept a little sauce warmed up just in case. Will definitely make again.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
i only used half of the crumb and it was enough. it actually had banana taste and didn't taste like just sugar. i used all brown sugar with no white mixed in. will definitely make again.

Buffalo Chicken Wing Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
this was a really great sauce. you really do have to use Frank's hot sauce to get maximum flavor. i would like to fry wings next time though (i grilled them this time)

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
I don't care for cream cheese, but this is AMAZING. The bottom layer of the cake tastes like pure vanilla, with the texture of cream cheese. Could have ate the whole cake myself. Will make again.

Best Ever Caramel Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
very good taste. but the work makes it not worthwhile. first, there is waaaaaaaaaaay too much caramel. the crisp wasn't crispy either. use a glass pan, cleanup will be much easier.

Chinese Egg Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
This recipe was good. I probably changed it so much it is a whole new recipe. I used 2 cans (14 ounces each) of chicken broth, 1/8 of a teaspoon sesame oil, 1 cup of peas and carrots instead of just peas, and 2 eggs. The recipe as written is 4 stars, as made 5.

Black Bean Vegetable Soup

the soup just wasnt enough. i omitted the carrots because truthfully, carrots in black bean soup is AWFUL! i also didnt puree the beans and tomatoes because i dont like thick soup. next time i would use beef broth in it.
