Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I love it when recipes are this easy, but taste great. I also used the Pepperidge Farm Chessman instead of Nila wafers and left out the whipped topping on top. I agree that it was a bit sweet so I added fresh fruit(blueberries and strawberries) on top with a bit of chopped rosemary. Also blended 2 of the bananas into the pudding instead of slicing. Really, really good.

Butter Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
This is a good recipe and easy to make. Not great enough to serve to company but a good healthy dinner to throw together with a salad and crusty bread or brown jasmine rice. I substituted cauliflower for potatoes to make it even healthier. The curry flavors are strong enough that you really can't taste the difference. Another plus, it used up a lot of ingredients that have been sitting around gathering dust in the pantry. :)

Crab Quiche II

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
Great recipe, and easily modified. I've made it twice. The first time with real crab and I would have given it 4 stars. Last night I made it with spinach, mushrooms and bay shrimp. I sauteed them with garlic, curry powder, olive oil, and Tabasco. I also added some sharp Cheddar Cheese and the extra egg. Awesome!!! Restaurant quality and sooooo easy. Will definitely make it again.

Million Dollar Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
Great fudge, and practically dummy proof! I made it once as written, and once with peanut butter instead of walnuts. Definitely a keeper.

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
Great recipe, and easy to prepare. I used fresh ginger instead of ground and baked at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes. I also followed the suggestion to let it marinade overnight. Will make again!
