Applesauce Barbeque Sauce

I think this is about as good as it gets!!! It is sweet as the brown sugar indicates but it is delishious! I always use a southwest dry rub first, while my meat cooks and this barbeque sauce completes it. Thanks so much for the wonderful recipe!

Sweet Zucchini Relish

I had to change my review! After it sat for a while, it turned into one of my favorites! It is so easy to make, and I'm adding hot peppers to the next batch. I'd suggest anyone wanting to make relish...try this one! Only thing I would comment on, is to chop the zucchini instead of shredding it. The texture seems better when chopped. Have fun with making this recipe!

Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding I

I made this exactly like recipe said. It was dry, completely hard on the bottom, a complete failure! If I was to make it again, I would put the dish in a pan of water and cook it for less time than directed. It really wasn`t worth the effort!

Sweet Vidalia Onion Relish

This is a wonderful sweet relish! A very nice change from the traditional green. I did not roast my peppers and just added them fresh. Since there is so much sugar, I really think it will last as long as green, in the fridge. I made this recipe for Christmas gifts and everyone raved about this relish and asked for for the recipe. It definately outshone the sweet green! I am making it again this summer, too many requests for it! Here is a hint...chew gum when working with the onions, helps with the tears!

Banana Loaf

This was the best banana bread I have made, and I`ve tried so many recipes. I followed the recipe exactly as given. It was so moist and the texture couldn`t have been any nicer! The banana taste really came through on this recipe. I can`t say enough about how good it was! Thanks for the recipe.

No Sugar Added Cookies

I made the cookies according to the recipe. I was actually surpised how much better they tasted than the batter. They do not really taste like a sweet cookie, more like a banana biscuit, but with the cake texture. I`ll make them again for my diabetic husband, so much healthier than artifical sweetners!

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

I made this fudge EXACTLY as written and it didn't thicken. I know something must have gone very wrong, but I don't know what. I used a candy thermometer to make sure the temps were right but to no avail.

Scott's Buffalo Wing Sauce

Wow was this sauce HOT!!! After reading the comments, I thought it would be mild to medium sauce. I was really disapointed when the wings were nearly smoking! Maybe I should have used Franks instead of Tapatio.

Lebanese Lemon Salad Dressing

I wish I could give this more stars! It is so easy to make and yet so versatile! I always keep a bottle in the fridge. I've marinated chicken with this dressing. This is the best recipe yet on chicken, I've found! I make rice salads with chopped parsley and chopped vegetables...excellent, I'm finding new ways everyday to used this dressing. Forgot to mention, it's flavorful and fresh on a salad as well.

Golden Dinner Rolls

Everyone loved these buns! I did end up having to put in apx 1.5 more cups of Canadian flour than the recipe called for. I find Canadian flour has more gluten and bakes differently than the American bread flour. This is a huge recipe and it made 20 rolls plus 2 small loaves of bread. I really wished I made all into rolls because they were the best ever! Next time, I'm using the recipe for chelsea buns...can't wait! Excellent recipe but it might need extra flour!

Amazing Gluten-Free Layer Bars

These are very sweet! I had a problem getting them out of the pan. They were very gooey. I ended up patting them in ground almonds, just so I could serve them. They did not look very nice on a plate but if you like sweet, it tasted okay.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This soup was niether good or bad. It was very blah. I made it exactly as the directions said and I was very disapointed. Some white wine or perhaps a dash of nutmeg might have made it more flavorful.

Cola Pork Chops

Wow, was this good and so easy! I made this with diet cola and brown sugar splenda. I read some of the other reviews and decided to brown the chops in a cast iron fry pan then add the sauce and pop it in the oven. I made twice baked potatoes and the sauce was excellent on them as well....wonderful recipe!

Excellent! The crunch of the carrots almost makes you think there is nuts in it. Perfect balance of taste with lots of carrots. Wonderful colour to add to a table. Great Salad, give it a try!
