Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

I made this fudge EXACTLY as written and it didn't thicken. I know something must have gone very wrong, but I don't know what. I used a candy thermometer to make sure the temps were right but to no avail.

Scott's Buffalo Wing Sauce

Wow was this sauce HOT!!! After reading the comments, I thought it would be mild to medium sauce. I was really disapointed when the wings were nearly smoking! Maybe I should have used Franks instead of Tapatio.

Lebanese Lemon Salad Dressing

I wish I could give this more stars! It is so easy to make and yet so versatile! I always keep a bottle in the fridge. I've marinated chicken with this dressing. This is the best recipe yet on chicken, I've found! I make rice salads with chopped parsley and chopped vegetables...excellent, I'm finding new ways everyday to used this dressing. Forgot to mention, it's flavorful and fresh on a salad as well.

Golden Dinner Rolls

Everyone loved these buns! I did end up having to put in apx 1.5 more cups of Canadian flour than the recipe called for. I find Canadian flour has more gluten and bakes differently than the American bread flour. This is a huge recipe and it made 20 rolls plus 2 small loaves of bread. I really wished I made all into rolls because they were the best ever! Next time, I'm using the recipe for chelsea buns...can't wait! Excellent recipe but it might need extra flour!

Verry good. I really liked the sauce when it was mixed with the sour cream and cheese. I was worried there might be too much cheese but it was perfect. Excellent receipe!

Amazing Gluten-free Layer Bars

These are very sweet! I had a problem getting them out of the pan. They were very gooey. I ended up patting them in ground almonds, just so I could serve them. They did not look very nice on a plate but if you like sweet, it tasted okay.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This soup was niether good or bad. It was very blah. I made it exactly as the directions said and I was very disapointed. Some white wine or perhaps a dash of nutmeg might have made it more flavorful.

Cola Pork Chops

Wow, was this good and so easy! I made this with diet cola and brown sugar splenda. I read some of the other reviews and decided to brown the chops in a cast iron fry pan then add the sauce and pop it in the oven. I made twice baked potatoes and the sauce was excellent on them as well....wonderful recipe!

Carrot Gelatin Salad

Excellent! The crunch of the carrots almost makes you think there is nuts in it. Perfect balance of taste with lots of carrots. Wonderful colour to add to a table. Great Salad, give it a try!

Black Bean Brownies

Wow, these are wonderful! I followed the recipe to the "T". This is a recipe made in heaven if you have to live on a gluten free diet. It is so much cheaper than those boxed mixes but has more taste, so moist, and really compares to regular brownies. I'm sure if you can eat wheat, regular brownies taste better but if you can't, give these a try, you won't be disapointed. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

I replaced the sugar with splenda. My diabetic husband rated this pie a 5. Everything else was followed to a "T" and the pie had a very strong lemon taste. It was more creamy than the traditional lemon pie made with the box filling. The lemon zest added a nice texture and taste. The meringue was the best I've ever made. It whipped up great and really held it's form.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

I have never gave anything a one star, but I did not care for these at all! I followed the recipe to a "T" and found they had little flavor other than cooked flour, mind you,the batter tasted wonderful. Most recipes, I give a second chance, this one doesn't deserve that option.

Creamy Rice Pudding

I couldn't believe how good this was, and how easy it was to make. I have made a sugar free version with splenda and replaced the milk with evaporated milk for an extra creamy texture. Any way you do it, it's sooo good! This needs more stars!

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

I had to make this a glutten free cake, so I used a glutten free, white cake mix. I added the milk mixture when the cake was still warm and it sucked it up like a sponge. We had it for dinner the next night and WOW...it was great! Everyone loved it and you would never know it was glutten free. It sliced wonderfully, excellent tasting, easy to make, I wish I could give more stars!

Cranberry Orange Loaf

The first time I made this recipe, it was just okay, but I gave it another shot and was so glad I did. I have made this loaf every time we travel. It packs up nicely and tastes better every day. It is wonderful for a snack, desert or for my favorite...breakfast!
