Grandma's Eggless, Butterless, Milkless Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
Excellent recipe. Tweeked it a little though. No chocolate, substituted diet cherry soda in place of water, splenda instead of sugar. Added dried cranberries and 2 tbsp of brown sugar as well as a 1/2 tsp salt. It turned out delicious. My kids and grandkids had no idea about the cake they just kept coming for more. This made a great breakfast bar. Yummy!!

Made this for a little girl at church as shes allergic to eggs. This rose perfectly, smells and tastes wonderful. Even my kids were wanting one. Made 20 cupcakes that are beautiful and very tasty. Not overly sweet, just perfect. I will definatly make this again and again. Only change I made was I used Smart Beat Margarine and it was still perfect.

Orange Buns

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I had made these rolls for years when my kids were little. We called them sunshine rolls and always had them christmas morning. The only difference is I made into small rolls and rolled them in a little sugar and orange zest. They are wonderful. I was happy to find this as I lost the recipe and would like to start this tradition again, only this time with my grandkids.

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
This is an excellent recipe and very easy. I am careful to read the recipes I choose to make and so far I have not made a bad one.Thee were so simple my grandson was able to measure and help me. Perfect. The only change I made was we made pull aparts out of the dough and rolled the doughballs in the cinnamon suger and put pats of butter within the rolls. We were both extremely happy with results and he was so proud as he presented them to the rest of family. Definatly a keeper. We used my bread machine for the dough. Easy Easy Easy!!!

Conchas (Mexican Sweet Bread)

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
These turned out really good. Just like the ones you buy in la panderia. I was attempting to make these during the night as my grandkids slept for a treat. They smell so wonderful cooking they all woke up and insisted on having them right from the oven. They couldnt wait for them to be cool enough to eat. Will make these often as they want some to take to their house too.
