I realized in the past few years that I really enjoy cooking and baking. Still not brave enough to come up with my own recipes, but am always changing things in others...go figure. :)
I'm happily married with 2 "fuzzy" kids.

My favorite family cooking traditions
Well, when I was a little girl, I remember me and my mom making lots of cookies and other sweets at Christmas. I also remember every Sunday I would go to my great-grandmother's house for Sunday dinner. There was always lots of food, family, and friends.
My cooking triumphs
When I made my FIRST meatloaf and surprised my husband at work with lunch. Turned out wonderful and he kept getting his coworkers to try it. I've never had to find another meatloaf recipe.
My cooking tragedies
Where do I begin??? With all mistakes comes very important lessons. :) I made soup one evening and I thought I had it memorized...It was supposed to be very thick and it ended up watery and NO taste...therefore always have the recipe close at hand. I made zucchini/squash dish that called for rosemary in the recipe...I added more than the reciped called for...ended up throwing it away. My husband had a great one...we decided to have our own Sunday dinner and we were trying to have things in preparation for when we got home from church...he put elbow macaroni in water...needless to say when we got back, it had turned to mush...he had to run to the store and get a new box and the dinner still turned out wonderful.
