This is a delicious salad! Love that it's low in fat and good for you! I did reduce the sugar as I thought 6Tbsp. was quite a bit and I'm glad I did. For the mixed vegies I used the california mix (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots). I could see no reason to go to the time and trouble to steam them when they would be eaten with the other raw vegetables. So I skipped that step and just thawed them a bit. They turned out perfect! I let the salad sit overnight and the next day the vegies were not soggy and were the perfect tenderness. The only thing I disagreed with was the prep time. Maybe it was just me but it certainly took me longer than 20 minutes to do all the dicing and put this together!! Other than that, it's a nice, refreshing, delicious salad!
