Dill Wrapped Cream Cheese
I made these just for a snack by myself at home, and they were great! I used the ingredients on the list and added garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and a couple dashes of black pepper to mine. I mixed it all into the soft cream cheese first. Then, rather than lay a big block of cream cheese in the center, I laid my crescent dough out and pinched the seams, then spread the cream cheese mixture across it, rolled it up and cut it across to make 8 mini rolls. Baked at 375 (b/c that is what the package said) for 15 minutes and viola! It was DELICIOUS.

Monkey Bread Muffins
These were delicious! I made them exactly as the recipe said, but I could have spread the pieces out to make an extra biscuit or two if needed. Also, I did not have any apple pie spice so I made my own using 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/8 tsp allspice, 1/8 tsp ginger. I baked them for the full 12min until they were a nice golden color. I saved some of the brown sugar mixture to drizzle on top after they were finished, and I'm sure glad I did b/c most of what I drizzled on before baking pooled at the bottom and was left in the pan when I took them out. Great recipe and super easy! Thanks!

Monte Cristo Sandwich - the Real One
I had my first Monte Cristo sandwich at a local restaurant and just loved it. Since then, I have been searching for a recipe that was as close to that same sandwich as I could get, and I believe I found it. Some other recipes suggest just dipping your sandwich in a milk/egg mixture and grilling like french toast, but I believe the batter and the frying is part of what makes this so delicious. For anyone worried about the oily greasy flavor, I used butter flavored Crisco and then laid them out on a paper towel to soak up the excess grease. They turned out delicious! We made these for a family birthday dinner and they were a hit with EVERYONE (from the little kids to the older adults). We served ours with powdered sugar and drizzled with raspberry preserves.
