Baked Buffalo Wings

I loved this recipe. My only complaint is that there was not nearly enough "heat" for my Texas taste buds. I made sure the wings were completely dry before coating them with the flour. I cooked the wings on cooling racks placed on the cookie sheet, so they were crisp all around.

Oaty Cereal Bars

I have made this a few times, and I have not been able to get actual bars. Regardless, it tastes great, and I end up with a healthy(ish) snack I store in ziploc bags. I have made the recipe with Splenda, reduced fat peanut butter and sugar free syrup (in lieu of some of the honey), and it tasted just as good.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

I followed the advice of others and used pumpkin pie filling. This turned out to be a very easy recipe, and it tasted great. I will make it again next Thanksgiving.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

I thought this recipe was just ok, but I am not a chocolate cake fan. I am giving it a 5 star rating because everyone else loved it. I had difficulty getting it out of the pan, so it left a lot to be desired in the looks department, but that was likely my own fault. I would recommend this recipe for chocolate cake lovers.

Easy OREO Truffles

I have been making these for the past few years, and they are requested at every family function. I make regular oreos with white chocolate and golden oreos with milk chocolate. The original recipe is the best, but it is definitely a recipe you can change up for great results every time.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Very good cookies! I followed the recipe with the exception of using just 1 cup of chocolate chips, which seemed like the perfect amount. I let the egg/egg yolk get to room temperature. I did not grease the cookie pan. I made the dough the night before, and I put it in the fridge until the following morning. They baked for 19 minutes. The recipe yielded 20 cookies.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

I have made this recipe several times. It is a good recipe, but I am still working to perfect it. I use green onion and add beans sprouts to the mix. I have also thrown in a can of mixed vegetables, and that added some color. As mentioned several times in the reviews, use cold rice to make this recipe. It makes a big difference.

Mandarin Orange Cake I

Very good. I made some adjustments to the cake mix: 1 t orange extract, 3/4 oil & 3 eggs. It came out very moist. For the topping I blended together the pineapple and pudding before folding in the Cool Whip. I refrigerated over night before serving.

Fried Butterflied Shrimp

Great recipes. I used Panko crumbs instead of bread crumbs. They came out very light and crispy. This recipe was perfect for two pounds of shrimp.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Awesome recipe. I used 4 oz of jalapenos and cheddar cheese instead of parmesean. I sprinkled the top with a cup of Panko crumbs and baked at 400 for 20 minutes. Delicious.

Savory Tater Tot Casserole

I seasoned the meat with garlic powder, salt and pepper. I used one can cream of chicken soup and one can cheddar soup. I did not include the vegetables in this recipe. It was a good recipe, and it would be easy to change up with different seasonings and soup mixes. I also made this with ground turkey meat, which I seasoned and cooked prior to putting in the baking dish.

Shepherd's Pie VI

I opted for using brown gravy instead of beef broth. I do not like cooked carrots, so I poured a can of corn and a can of green beans (both drained) on top of the meat. I used steam in a bag potatoes and topped the potatoes with cheese. It tasted great, and it took very little time to prepare.

Chicken Stir-Fry

Loved this recipe! I did not use ginger, and I added fresh garlic. I used broccoli and bean sprouts the the first time I made it. I added additional soy sauce to the vegetables while they cooked. For Mother's Day I made this recipe for ten people. We threw in every vegetable we could find in the kitchen. Everyone from ages 4 - 65 liked it.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I halved the recipe, and it came out great. I used baking powder instead of baking soda. The cookies go not spread, so I flattened them with the bottom of a glass. They took about 13 minutes to cook. Half the recipe made three dozen cookies.

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

So easy! I used one can each of cream of chicken, cream of celery and cheddar. I threw a packet of dry Italian dressing mix into the soup mixture. I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. After I cooked it on low for 8 hours, I shredded the chicken, added the sour cream and stirred in a whole bag of cooked egg noodles. Yum!
