Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
What a fantastic combination of flavors! The tang of the vinegar, the sweetness of the syrup and the zing of the mustard blend into delicioso plus! I followed the recipe exactly as shown, except I didn't have enough real maple syrup, so I used half real and half Aunt Jemima's. I blended all of the ingredients and poured them into a Ziploc bag with the pork roast, and refrigerated for about a day. Used my meat thermometer and basted the roast about every 20 minutes or so; took it out when it reached 160 and the roast was perfect. My daughter likes her meat plain, so I cut her a "virgin" piece from the center of the roast. The meat was tender and juicy with great flavor. Thanks so much for this recipe...it's a keeper!

Deluxe Sour Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
My husband tasted this and said "Wow!" The combination of flavors is delicious. I followed the recipe exactly as written, except that I broke the cooked bacon into bite-size pieces and sprinkled them on top of the chicken before adding the sauce. I also sauteed the mushrooms (on the same griddle as the bacon). Thanks for this terrific recipe...will definitely make again for both family and company.

Wings In Cola

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
Great recipe...extremely easy to prepare and definitely worth the cooking time! I had to cook a little faster (1 1/2 hours covered and 1 hour uncovered, turning every 30 minutes), and at a higher temp (350-375F), but it still turned out great. The sauce reduced perfectly, and the meat was falling off the bone. I cut the recipe in half (thank you, Allrecipes!), used a little less brown sugar than called for, and added 1/2 tsp. ground mustard. I also used Diet Pepsi, garlic powder instead of garlic salt, and low sodium soy sauce. Great flavor, and not too salty.

Almost Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Aside from doubling the green pepper, I followed the recipe exactly. My entire family loves it! My daughter claims that she doesn't like green peppers and I told her that she could eat around them, but she cleaned her plate, peppers and all.

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
These are wonderful! The brown sugar/butter combo seeps through the holes in the saltines and forms a perfect toffee bottom. The saltiness of the saltines makes these extra yummy. I used toasted almonds.
