I lightened this recipe by using skim milk, egg beaters, heart smart Bisquik, fat free margarine, 96% fat free ham, and fat free cheddar. I also used 12 oz. steamed broccoli prepared and added imitation bacon bits. It was great, but there was a bit too much liquid (probably because of the substitutes that I made). I had to cook it extra time to get the center to the right consistency, which made the outside a bit too crispy. Next time I will reduce the milk by 1/2 cup.
