Ratatouille Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Excellent. I made this recipe a few times this past summer to get rid of some extra vegetables from the garden. I used fresh tomatoes instead of canned and didn't use all that mozzeralle cheese. Excellent recipe.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
My sister (who is a pretty terrible cook) asked if she could make something for Christmas dinner I gave her this recipe and asked her to make it. I am totally surprised that it came out excellent. Our family used to make the sweet potatoes with marshmellows on top- we will replace that recipe with this one. No subsitions were made. The only thing she did differant was peel and boil the sweet potatoes instead of broil. Excellent recipe!

My first time making pecan pie and it came out excellent. I cut sugar by 1/3 and used reduced calorie corn syrup. Very easy and delicious!

Venison Stew II

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
I browned the meat with the onions, garlic, and spices then transferred to crockpot with all of the remaining ingredients. I added about a cup of both carrots and celery. The thing I didn't like about this recipe is that there are too many potatoes and not enough other veggies. If I didnt add the carrots and celery it would just be venison, potatoes, onions, and parsnips- nothing else. Also, my hushand added a few splashes of Frank's Hot Sauce to the whole stew and it really livened it up with out giving it too much of a kick.I would use this recipes again but with my few changes.

Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
This is one of my fiance's favorite dishes. I add a can of corn and a can of black beans to this. I have also made this recipe with out the tortillas and just eat it out of the bowl and it comes out great. This recipe is great because I can get the crock pot ready before I go to work, keep it in the fridge then come home and turn it on. This is a keeper!

Soft Gingersnaps

Great cookies! Just watch out, this recipe makes a lot of cookies! You also have to watch because they can burn real easily so take them out when they start to crack.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
I should have listened to the other reviews when they said to cut the milk down to 1/2c. I instead used the whole amount and my meatloaf pre-coocked was soggy. I made 2 mini meatloafs and cooked them in seperate puyrex dishes. I wanted to dry them out a little so I cooked the mini ones for an hour and they came out OK. I also made the glaze of 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 ketchup and 1/4 bbq sauce which I think added more flavor. This was an OK recipe, I think I am going to experiment with other meatloaf recipes before I come back to this one.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
This was a great soup recipe. I have been trying different soups to make for my picky 2 year old and he loves this one. I did add a can of corn to the mix as well as a can of chicken stock. I also omitted the chicken bouillon since I am giving it to a toddler I didnt want the sodium level to be high. All in all, a great recipe that the whole family can enjoy!

Banana Cream Pie III

Love this recipe. I put it in a graham cracker crust instead of pie crust. I also did a banana and vanilla pudding package. I filling was a little too much. No biggy- I just spooned it out and ate it! Yummy and easy recipe!

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
I love this recipe! I cut the sugar down to 1/2 cup since I find 3/4 cup makes it too sweet for my taste. My Brother in Law is from South Carolina and can't believe me, a New Yorker, can make sweet tea just like his Mom.

I love this recipe. My fiance begs me to make this all the time. The only thing I add is a little bit of chopped fresh dill. All around, this recipe is a keeper!
