Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
Have to say, I've tried several other pumpkin pancake recipes from this site. Some were too cakey, others were too thin. Some had an overwhelming pumpkin flavor, and the other wasn't pumpkin enough. This was perfect! Absolutely amazing. Will make again and again this fall and winter.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2012
I have to say I made this tonight and it turned out absolutely wonderful. It's not a new, exotic, type meatloaf. Instead, it reminds me of the kind my mother made growing up! The sauce is so good, and I certainly agree with other viewers that you should make about a third more than the recipe calls for in order to give the loaf a nice glaze. Additionally, I also sauteed the onions with a couple of cloves of garlic in some butter and oil, as others suggested. It was so moist, so comforting. GREAT recipe...will now be a staple!

Classic Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
With such a simple ingredients list, I must admit I was skeptical, however it truly was excellent. The only two changes I made were to add 2 cloves of minced fresh garlic, and I used half an onion. Very good recipe!

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
I just made this potato soup this afternoon and I must say it will now be a family favorite. The flavor is complex and the spicing as written in the recipe is right on. I would note that I used a slightly large onion and very large clove of garlic, but other than that, I followed the directions exactly. What an inexpensive, but incredibly delicious recipe. Thank you so much! I'm actually making a second batch tomorrow with the potatoes I have left. I did oil and heavily salt the potatoes before baking, which I believe added to the flavor of the dish.

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Absolutely delicious. I took other reviewer's advice and added the vanilla. I also sprinkled chopped pecans on the pancakes as they were cooking. Fluffy, with a very banana flavor, which we loved! GREAT RECIPE! By the way, my very picky 1 year old loved them :)

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
I made this recipe and just combined all the ingredients as others suggested. It was the best I've ever made and the entire thing was gone in minutes! I simpy sauteed the garlic in a pan on the stove top for 5 minutes, since I was pressed for time, and it softened it up just enough. It was the perfect consitency. Great recipe and so easy!

Chocolate Bliss Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
For me, this was the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever made at home. Mine looked exactly like the picture, didn't spread, and were nice and soft. I wouldn't call them chewy, but they had a perfect consisitency. I followed the direction exactly, and my husband raved about them. However, I only got 20 cookies out of this recipe, instead of the 30 I thought I might get. GREAT RECIPE!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
First, I'd like to point out that if you are in a pinch, making this recipe just as stated, with beef broth in place of water, is absolutely delicious. The meat was wonderfully tender, even though I did not take the time to brown it. Furthermore, I served the meat, along with all the great gravy over a bed of whole wheat wide egg noodles. Everyone in the family loved it. I also stirred in a few handfuls of frozen peas at the end, just to add a bit more nutritional value to it. Great recipe, and I will be sure to make again!
