About this Cook
I have always loved food. I used to cook for myself and my parents would always want a taste. My oldest sister would come and steal from my plate without me realizing it until I came back to my plate and found a big bite on anything I had prepared for myself. So I guess my family likes my cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I love trying new recipes, I love bbq'ing, but in Mexico that is something only men do. So usually I only watch and suggest, not my husband's favorite activity. I love curry, stir fry, and anything for entertainment.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas dinner has been the same for as long as I can remember. Now that I am married and spending Christmas only with my husband I cooked dinner with my mom on Skype. It was fun!
My cooking triumphs
My flan, made it for my parents in law and I think they loved it. It didn't last more than a day.
My cooking tragedies
Merengues, it was a rainy day and they say that eggs won't stay up on rainy days. I didn't listen and carried on with the recipe. Sure enough, the merengue burnt inside the oven and never got up. All to the trash!

Spicy Indian Chicken Curry Yummy
I liked it, but I found it too dry. I might have missed something, but it didn't have coconut milk or tomatoes, or anything to make any sort of sauce. I decided to add tomato. I have found other curry recipes here much better than this one.

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns
Amazing! Skeptical at first because it seemed very complicated, too many steps, too many ingredients repeat, etc. But my husband and I made it together and it turned out to be fantastic! We loved it, he was amazed! Thank you for sharing these great recipes!
