Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

I've always used Jiffy Cornbread because I thought it was just as good as homemade. I was wrong, not afraid to admit it. I absolutely love this recipe and thank Bethany for sharing it. This is my go to cornbread recipe and I look forward to making and eating it. I make it exactly as written and it works perfect every time. I sometimes make muffins instead of cooking in a pan and the only thing you have to change is the amount of time. I think it takes around 15 to 20 minutes in a muffin pan.

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Best pancakes I've ever made, everyone loved them! Don't need to change a thing, plan ahead and pick up a small bottle of low-fat buttermilk, it's worth it!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Great peanut butter cookie recipe!! I did take the advice of others and added a little bit more flour and peanut butter. Also added one tsp vanilla. Was a bit hit with family and friends!

Blackberry Cobbler

I've made quite a few cobblers, but all of them were pretty much the same until I found this recipe! This is just different enough to be special! If your looking for a cobbler that will impress your significant other, this is the one. Only thing I changed from the way it was written is the size of the cut, once you have rolled up the dough and berries. Cut it around 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch and it works perfect and fits just right in the pan. I can't imagine how you would cut it as thin as the recipes calls for or why you would want to. Make it and enjoy with ice cream on top, wonderful! Thanks Trudy!
